Looks very good. There are some spelling errors you need to correct ie the Welcome link Phi Bet needs an “a”. This is an awesome site and we have needed this for a long time.

    Bravo to all involved.

  2. Hello Ron,

Thanks for taking the time to reply here. I’ve changed the typos, thanks for finding them. Also, I few folks have had problems with the log-in process… I’m working on fixing these problems as I become aware of them. If any of you are having a problem with the log-in, please contact us with the form above.

    Don Panhorst comments:
Congratulations! This site should save some money and communicate faster with the members. My initial log on, however, did not leave a good impression of the site. There was a lot of the text overlapping other text, making it difficult to read. However, once I entered the member area, the text was easier to read. There was still some overlapping text that needs attention.

  4. Hello Don,

I’ve read your above comment, thanks for bringing this to our attention. I’m not having any text overlap issues anywhere on the site. I’ve checked this on Internet Explorer, Firefox, and the Opera Browsers, I’ve also checked the site on multiple computers and have not seen some of the troubles you are having… My first thought is that you might be using Iinternet Explorer and your magnification setting is set too high (Lower right corner of the web browser). My 2nd thought is that you might need to upgrade your browser to a more current version.

What computer operating system and browser/version are you using? Is anyone else seeing this? If so could you let us know as well. Thanks.

  5. Don,

Internet Explorer has some problems with using the “zoom level” feature on text that is italic or bold. I can make the text appear to “overlap” when changing these setting in IE -double check your setting. Try opening the site in a FireFox browser (firefox.com). If the problem is not on Firefox, then it most likely is an IE problem.

    Joe,

Thanks for putting this site together! I am happy we have this option for our membership. Great work! I am looking forward to our annual meeting and catching up with all the Brothers and Sisters of Phi Beta Mu.

    Ron and Joe,
Great job and imagination. Congratulations and thanks for your hard work.

  8. fcaimi says:

    Ron, Joe,
I’m finding this to be very convenient. Thank you for this service to our fraternity.

I got a denial when I tried to access the change-of-password site. The http:……address I copied in (from the recent letter sent to all of us) resulted in a “no-such-place” response. ??? I’ll keep trying to get in and get back to you if I’m denied access over a couple of days and (several) attempts.

Also, I’ve decided to make my primary email addr the one I hold at Lock Haven U. Please make the necessary adjustment(s) in the directory of membership. (fcaimi@lhup.edu).

    all the best…

Great site. Easy to navigate. No problems that I could find. I’m sure this serve as a great money saver and, above all, a quick and convenient method of contace. Thanks for your hard work. Jack Krone

Great Job! Site looks fantastic. Thanks for all the work and effort to get this up and running for the brotherhood. Your efforts did not go unnoticed!
    Congratulations!

    Ron, Joe,

I like the electronic solution to filling out forms, printing, and sending rather than the snail mail. I already have a Ballot in the mail to Brother Grieg and as soon as my wife gives me some money that form will go to Brother Schmidt. I think the site works great and looks great. Thanks.

  12. Dr. Hendley Hoge says:

    Joseph
Thanks for bringing the fraternity into the 21st century. This is only “The Start of Something Big”! I’m sorry that I am unable to attend the meeting in a few weeks. My position as high school principal prevents me from making the trip out east unless the conference is held in Pittsburgh or Erie.
Give my regards to our fellow brothers and sisters. By the way, fthe Mercer Community Band begins its 32nd season of “The Best Free Entertainment on a Friday Night” this June. Check out our website: mercercommunityband.com God bless!
